Who Gives a Hoot? (Entry from USA)
Besides the best technology of safe, pain-free, and smooth-edge can opening experience, another thing we love at Kitchen Mama is a good dose of creativity, and puns!
Thankfully, Marlon representing Hawaii, USA (who is originally from The Netherlands) quenched our need for that! An empty can be turned into an OWL-SOME STORAGE? Bring it on!
It’s probably because of our can craft design winner’s combination of living in both Hawaii and the Netherlands, but we’ve never seen owls this chill. It is beyond our imagination how owls (which remind us of Hedwig and the festive Great Hall during Christmas at Hogwarts by the way) can seem so ready to surf the waves!
Owlsome Storage Can -- The Award of the Best Art Design!
Her creativity astounded us that her work won her The Award of the Best Art Design! AWESOME indeed! Check down below to recreate her can craft design. Simply prepare the following materials and follow the instructions below:
Supplies You'll Need:
Empty Can with Smooth Edges
Two Buttons
Two Bottle Caps
Brown, orange, blue paper
Two googly eyes
Glue
Scissors
Follow 3 easy steps to make the owlsome ornament:
STEP 1: Cut the brown paper depending on the size of your can.
STEP 2: Using the brown, blue and orange paper, cut out your owl’s wings, eyebrows, and claws.
STEP 3: Glue all the pieces on your can.
What’s more! This amazing ornament is handy to store pencils, markers, knikkers, candy, cutlery, or maybe a cute plant. Crafting some cute baby owls from wooden spoons is also a creative idea that makes the creation even more adorable. 🦉💕
